*UPDATE 2* This Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation is now available at Sephora for $25. But you may only be able to get some colors (such as the very deep shades) at the ABH website. This foundation stick is also now available at ULTA and Macy’s in most colors. You also may be able to find it in store so check at the store in your area.
*UPDATE1 * This Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation is now available in most shades (22 foundation shades and 4 contour and highlighting shades) at Anastasia Beverly Hills for $25. Four more foundation shades will launch mid September.
Stick foundations seem to be very popular right now which is great since it’s my favorite way to apply foundation ever since I discovered the Black Opal Stick Foundation. I recently bought the new Hourglass Stick Foundation and it’s quickly become a favorite. With this new Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation, I can’t wait to add it to my stick foundation collection (only the MUFE Stick Foundation was a disappointment).
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation is set to launch this Thursday – 8/18 – at the brand’s website. Most of the shades launch on Thursday (Cool Golden and Ebony will launch mid September). Two more fair shades (Alabaster and Warm Alabaster) will also launch mid September.
There are also four shades (Mink, Fawn, Shadow and Banana) which are cool toned contour and highlight shades. But I’m certain you can use any of the designated foundation shades to contour and highlight with if these four shades don’t work for you.
This Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation is medium to full coverage and is supposed to give a natural finish which is neither matte or dewy. While many stick foundations seem to be designed for dry skin, this foundation is said to work best for those with oily skin so yay for me! The MUFE Stick Foundation which I have and hate seems designed for those with dry skin so if you have dry skin, you may want to try this instead.
The following is a great guide for shade reference especially if planning to buy this foundation online.
The shade range is amazing and it looks like most including me will be able to find something suitable. Earth looks like my shade.
And on top of this amazing shade range, this Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation will be on sale for $25 which is a very reasonable price especially since stick foundations always contain less product than liquid foundations.
Get these shades on Thursday at Anastasia Beverly Hills. Many of these shades will also launch online later on at Ulta, Sephora, Macy’s, etc. I’ll have to wait and see but it seems like most of the darker shades will only be available online at Anastasia Beverly Hills.
