I’ve been meaning to do this Freeman Feeling Beautiful Cucumber Peel-Off Mask review for the longest especially now that I’m on my third or fourth tube. It’s a basic peel-off mask which I love using every now and then because I have really clogged pores so it is usually between using peel-off masks or clay masks to try to unclog my pores.
This Freeman Feeling Beautiful Peel-Off Mask is designed for normal or combination skin and it states that it “clarifies and renews skin”. It comes in a tube with 6.0 Fl.Oz (175 ml) and contains no parabens
A super-cooling, skin quenching mask that gently peels away impurities that can cause skin to be rough and dull. Cucumber and aloe soothe while moisturizing, ensuring skin feels soft and silky smooth after every use. Perfect for normal to combinations skin.
From the above, it does seem to contain a lot of fruit extracts although cucumber and aloe are close to the bottom of the ingredient list which always leads me to think that there isn’t much of either in this mask.
After cleansing my face with my Foreo Luna Mini, I applied a layer of this Freeman Cucumber Peel-Off Mask. It is a gooey gel-like mask with a very slight greenish color to it. I apply a layer that is not to thin and not too thick. I just want it to be easy to peel off which is why I don’t apply a thin layer.
The instructions state to leave on for 5 – 10 minutes or until dry. I certainly feel like you need more than 5 – 10 minutes for the mask to completely dry. My personal preference is to wait for about an hour just to make sure that everything is completely dry but don’t wait more than this especially if you have oily skin because oil will start to get between the mask and your skin. If I need the mask to remove impurities from my pores I don’t want oil to get in the way.
This mask has more of an antiseptic smell and not cucumber or aloe which isn’t surprising since these ingredients are lower on the ingredient list. It would have been great though for a “cucumber” mask to smell like cucumber!
Try to avoid placing the mask on any hairs (eyebrows or hairline) as it will hurt when you are peeling off the mask. There is very slight tingling when you first put on this mask and if you happen to have any small cuts or bruises on your skin, it will hurt slightly. It does have a cooling effect when first applied.
- Inexpensive and you get several uses out of one tube.
- It does help to unclog some of my clogged pores and you may even be able to see the evidence on the mask itself.
- Skin feels very clean, soft and smooth.
- Pores appear slightly smaller after using this mask.
- Although I like this Freeman Feeling Beautiful Cucumber Peel-Off Mask, it is a very basic mask and you shouldn’t expect anything life changing.
- The results only last for not much longer than a day.
- Strong fragrance that can be a bit too much when you first apply the mask. It does fade somewhat as the mask dries.
Although it doesn’t do anything groundbreaking, I do like this mask and will continue to buy in the future. If you have combination/oily skin and large pores, you may want to try this mask. Plus, it’s inexpensive.
I hope this Freeman Feeling Beautiful Cucumber Peel-Off Mask review was helpful to you.
