Finding a contour powder for dark skin can be like trying to find a needle in a haystack but these new black|Up Contour Powders definitely add a bit more to what’s currently available for those looking for a contour powder for dark skin. These contour powders which were recently released by black|Up are now also available at Sephora for $45 and have a satin finish.
Custom sculpt and shape your face with this Contouring Powder. With its two matte shades and its highlighting touch, the palette Contouring Powder makes the professional technique of contouring accessible to all women. Just use the included illustration to find your face shape and customize your contouring to highlighting.
These black|Up Contour Powders come in six different palettes which is a fantastic selection for dark skin,
- medium light
- medium dark
The deep looks like it may work for my dark skin although I don’t know about the 2 highlighting and sculpting powders included in the palette though. Looks like getting the deep palette and then one of the other palettes and using the contour shade in the other palettes as a highlight may work better for me but I don’t know about spending $90 on two palettes.
If $45 is too rich for your blood, you may want to consider the Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette for $7.99 shown below but the darkest palette (medium to dark) was not dark enough for me although I’m thinking this palette and the black|Up palette in deep may be the perfect combination – one for the contour shade and the other palette for the highlighting shades.
The Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette is only available in the shades light/medium and medium/dark.
