This seems like an answer to prayer. Being dark-skinned, I usually have trouble finding a foundation that is dark enough for my skin especially drugstore foundations. The darkest shade is usually too light for my skin. Well to help with this problem, The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops are now in stock.
The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops actually come in two formulations. The darkening drops are to darken any foundation that is too light. The Lightening Drops are to lighten a foundation that is too dark. While the former is my main issue, surprisingly, I also have a couple of foundations that are too dark for my skin. So I could use both formulations although the darkening is what I am eyeing because maybe now I can try some popular drugstore foundations that are a shade or two lighter than my skin.
The lightening drops are formulated to lighten and neutralize yellowness, whereas the darkening drops darken while keeping natural depth.
I’ve been waiting for these drops to be in stock on the US website after seeing them on the UK site almost two weeks ago. I’ve been wanting them not only to lighten or darken foundations but hopefully if they work, I should no longer have to buy two foundation shades to mix (which I do for some foundations) in order to get the right shade for my skin. These drops can take care of that.
I do wonder if they will work on BB creams or CC creams also.
